Jesus made it very clear that He has always existed.

“He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.” - Colossians 1:17 - NIV (2011)

He is not a false idol, made by human hands, which cannot speak, see, hear, or breathe.

“The idols of the nations are silver and gold,
made by human hands.
They have mouths, but cannot speak,
eyes, but cannot see.
They have ears, but cannot hear,
nor is there breath in their mouths.” - Psalm 135:15-17 - NIV (2011)

He never sinned.

“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” - 2 Corinthians 5:21 - NIV (2011)

His Word (the Bible) will never pass away.

“The grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of our God endures forever.”” - Isaiah 40:8 - NIV (2011)

He knows everything.

“Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.” - Hebrews 4:13 - NIV (2011)

He is the ultimate judge of sin, and everyone, one day, will have to give an account for his or her deeds on this earth.

“For God will bring every deed into judgment,
including every hidden thing,
whether it is good or evil.” - Ecclesiastes 12:14 - NIV (2011)

He is a loving God who wants what is best for you.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” - Jeremiah 29:11 - NIV (2011)

No one made Him up, nor is He just another false god. He is the one and only true God who wants everyone to accept Him as his or her Savior.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” - John 3:16 - NIV (2011)

Re: Jesus Christ – Fact Or Fiction?

Nice post! I second your proposal. Unfortunately Christ myth research has been hacked down by unscrupulous supporters. It is possible to show that there is nothing new in Christianity, that Christianity did not need a historical founder for it's existence or success. But when enthusiasts write "all of these gods did all of these things" with a list, detractors will simply find one case where one of the gods did not do one of those things, and 'disprove' the whole argument.

Jesus isn't an exact copy of every other god; he is a delicate and complicated balance of them all. One by one, Jesus may not seem to have much in common. But when you start by targeting each of them individually, and finally move on to Jesus, you can see that he did or said or was believed to be nothing innovative.

For those interested in the research, my book "Jesus Potter Harry Christ" is the most modern attempt at making a strong case against the historical Jesus.

Re: 101 Atheist Quotes

Science cannot disprove the Word of God. The Bible mentions different things that have to do with science.

1.	The Bible mentions, over 2000 years ago, that the earth is round.

“He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth,
and its people are like grasshoppers.
He stretches out the heavens like a canopy,
and spreads them out like a tent to live in.” - Isaiah 40:22 - NIV (2011)

2.	The Bible mentions about the paths of the sea.

“the birds in the sky,
and the fish in the sea,
all that swim the paths of the seas.” - Psalm 8:8 - NIV (2011)

3.	The Bible mentions that people interpreted if the weather was going to be good or bad, just by looking at the sky in the evening and morning.

“He replied, “When evening comes, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,’ 3 and in the morning, ‘Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.” - Matthew 16:2-3 - NIV (2011)

4.	The Bible says that each star is different from the others.

“The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.” - 1 Corinthians 15:41 - NIV (2011)

5.	The Bible talks about the circulation of the atmosphere.

“The wind blows to the south
and turns to the north;
round and round it goes,
ever returning on its course.” - Ecclesiastes 1:6 - NIV (2011)

6.	The Bible talks about the earth’s crust.

“This is what the LORD says:
'Only if the heavens above can be measured
and the foundations of the earth below be searched out
will I reject all the descendants of Israel
because of all they have done,’
declares the LORD.” - Jeremiah 31:37 - NIV (2011)

7.	The Bible talks about clouds holding water.

“He wraps up the waters in his clouds,
yet the clouds do not burst under their weight.” - Job 26:8 - NIV (2011)

8.	The Bible says that the earth is not suspended over anything.

“He spreads out the northern skies over empty space;
he suspends the earth over nothing.” - Job 26:7 - NIV (2011)

9.	The Bible talks about the ocean floor having deep valleys and the ocean floor having mountains as well.

“The valleys of the sea were exposed
and the foundations of the earth laid bare
at the rebuke of the LORD,
at the blast of breath from his nostrils.” - 2 Samuel 22:16 - NIV (2011)
“To the roots of the mountains I sank down;
the earth beneath barred me in forever.
But you, LORD my God,
brought my life up from the pit.” - Jonah 2:6 - NIV (2011)

Science and the Bible agree with each other, whereas evolution and science do not.

Re: 101 Atheist Quotes

@ U sin. You are so far off base. To know right and wrong is a universally human thing. As human beings, we know it not right to steal from others, kill others, hurt others for no reason. You do not need religion to tell you what is right and wrong. Having a concience should be and is enough to differentiate! I think people who have to have a reward for doing good and a punishment for doing bad as the twisted ones. You should not have to be motivated by anything other than your ingrained good sense.
Your saying that you see more atheists participating in drug use and alcoholism than people of faith is just a bunch off crap. For the sake of argument, I'll say that 90% of the worlds population believes in a "god" and 10% are atheists. You mean to tell me that only 10% of the world drinks alcohol and takes drugs!? Whatever! There are just as many theist alcoholics and drug users as atheists!

Oh, have you ever studied geology or cosmology or anything to do with basic earth science? I'm guessing not based on your ignorant assumption that the molten inner earth is actually "hell".

Unbelieveable!

Re: 101 Atheist Quotes

Well like i said b4.........All religion is only a belief.......at least Science has EVIDENSE that would put any religion in the compleately wrong catagory! I do believe that doing good works is good, but doing good works will not save anyone, nor does it excuse the fact that there is a God (Jesus Christ).

Someone could spend fifty years in the medical field, be good as what he or she does, and be helpful to people. Does this mean, even though the doctor knows a lot about the human body, medicines, illnesses, and has helped a lot of people, that the doctor can excuse away the fact that there is a living God?

The Bible states that people can see God’s eternal power and divine nature through His creation, so people do not have any excuse for not believing in God.

“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” - Romans 1:20 - NIV (2011)

Re: 101 Atheist Quotes

Atheists are not sick in the physical sense, but in the spiritual sense, they are.

“Jesus answered them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.” - Luke 5:31 - NIV (2011)

What Jesus is saying by “It is not the healthy who need a doctor” is that people who already have accepted Him as their Savior do not need to be witnessed to again. They already have eternal life through Jesus Christ.

The sick Jesus is referring to are people who have not accepted Him as their Savior. They need to be witnessed to, to show them that God (Jesus Christ) loves them, wants them to repent, and accept Him as his or her Savior.

Jesus wants everyone to willingly come to Him and ask Him into his or her heart.

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” - Romans 10:9-10 - NIV (2011)

If someone dies not having accepted Jesus Christ into his or her heart, that person will spend an eternity in a place of torment that will never end.

Re: 101 Atheist Quotes

Stem cell research is not bad in of itself, but the popular way to collect stem cells is bad.

One way of collecting stem cells is when the embryo (which is the baby) is used. Face it, if you're a Christian especially, you just can't deny that you're in denial when you think you can be scientific AND religious. Since there is no technology to go back in time, no one can observe the beginning of the earth. So far, everything that has been discovered has shown the Bible to be truthful. Evolution, on the other hand, has had problems keeping its theories up to date, since science is showing evolution to be wrong.

God (Jesus Christ) used men to write the Bible, but God told the men what to write. There is a difference. I could sit down and write something about an event I saw on the news, but I could have missed something, been incorrect on a fact, etc. However, if I write what one of the witnesses told me he saw happen, then the account would hopefully be more accurate. The only difference with the witness and God is that God’s account is perfect.

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,” - 2 Timothy 3:16 - NIV (2011)

All human common sense, ideas, and even true facts discovered by science, etc. cannot prove the Bible wrong. God made sure that no one could do this through what He created.

I could say that wind does not exist because I do not see it. The problem with this idea would be why would you feel it if the wind did not exist? How could something be blown by the wind if the wind did not exist? Just the human body alone is so complicated that someone would have a better chance dumping a bunch of puzzle pieces on the ground that end up being put together, than having the human body evolve through the process of evolution.

“For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.” - Romans 1:20 - NIV (2011)

Everyone has the choice to either accept Jesus Christ or reject Him.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” - John 3:16 - NIV (2011)

Re: 101 Atheist Quotes

First off, I'd like to thank those who really read this and attempt to understand it in a logical, scientific and patient manner.

I mean no disrespect to anyone here, and if I do offend, it is not at all with any malice or intent.

My background is in aerospace engineering and aeronautics. For a brief time I underwent astronaut training at the Houston flight center in Texas. I have four degrees, two undergraduate degrees at private and State Universities and two postgraduate work at Cambridge Graduate School. I have studied five languages, including the original language in which the historical Biblical record is written. I have worked for some very brilliant and famous people, but the more I do and learn, the more I understand how much I have yet to understand.

Truth is not always self-evident, and many times has to be debated and fought for. Is this not why we have courtrooms? Is this not why wars have been waged throughout the ages? And yet, just because an army prevails, does it mean they are in the right? Of course not.

I'm trying to be an impartial observer and analyze what I am reading here and observing, and then give a true life response to it, but impartiality in a debate is often difficult to achieve, although a noble goal.

Debates do often call for passions to run deep, but people can also have genuinely differing opinions and remain kind and respectful at the same time.

A true intellectual debate is one in which each can stimulate the thought processes of the other without insult or injury. In the highest sense, may motivate one or the other to re-consider at least a portion of his ground, else why bother to debate?

My own family, while I was growing up, had one side God haters, one side God lovers. We had the homosexuals, atheists, drunks, and everything else all piled into my Mother's side of my family. We had the preachers, Sunday school teachers, missionaries, and goodie two shoes piled into my Father's side of the family. Therefore, you can imagine, I've had a lifetime of both sides of the argument.

As far as belief in the supernatural goes - you only have to be picked up once and thrown around by something not visible to your eyes to make you understand we are very small, very weak, and there are forces/beings much more powerful than us who can dramatically alter the course of our life, our nation, and this planet. Have it happen to you multiple times, as I have had, and you begin the search for something far beyond your little, brief, frail existence.

I am not myself an atheist, but I do believe in your right to believe what you want, so long as it does not cause harm to anyone else.

My first observation of the atheist blog is that for people who supposedly do not believe in God, religion, or the supernatural, you spend a lot of time talking about something that you don’t believe in. This is not a criticism, merely an observation from someone standing outward looking in.

Of the 100 quotes, the first 24 (and I stopped there) referred to God and religion in every single one. This is confusing to me. If I make paper boxes, I don't spend all my time talking about what I don't like about plastic boxes. I spend my time reveling the virtues of the paper box.

Like some of you, I myself have gone on a long journey in search of "the truth".

Moreover, if you will permit a brief interlude, I would like to share a brief glimpse at the tip of the iceberg of what I discovered - through scientific discovery for the most part, through historical record, and through personal suffering. While I do so, I may occasionally refer to texts that you may not agree with, but please do me the intellectual courtesy of allowing me to reference some my sources.

As a first example: Yes, it can be argued that the USA does a great deal of harm in the world. This is because there are people unelected who are furthering their own political agendas, not our best interest and safety. On the other hand, wherever there is a disaster in the world, who is usually first on the scene? the USA Who fed our enemies for decades when they were in need of food and medical supplies (Russia during the cold war)? the USA There is a principle that I learned while reading the historical Biblical record - it goes something like - "give and it will be given back to you, pressed down, and flowing over". I submit to you that the prosperity of the USA is not because we are great, but because we are following a spiritual principle.

I have read the actual words penned by George Washington in his last days. These are kept in the Ivy League vaults of our nation's most prestigious schools. This is true, unaltered, unfiltered historical fact with actual original documents to back it up.

George Washington recounts that one day the old Indian chief of the Indian nations came to meet President Washington. The Chief told President Washington that, before he died, he had to come and meet the man who God would not let die. He told President Washington that on that particular day of battle, he had instructed all his chiefs to not engage any of the soldiers of Washington's army, but to just kill "the man on the white horse". The Chief said, “Kill that man and the rest will scatter.”

Later George Washington would write home, an historically preserved letter. He had four horses shot out from under him, multiple bullet holes in his jacket and hat, and yet multiple tribes could not bring him down that day. Why? Well, an old, superstitious, pagan Indian chief said it was God, the Creator, who protected our nation's leader that day.

Archeologists discovered the walls of the city of Jericho. My brother went to investigate. The archeological dig discovered that the walls of this city had been indeed pushed down just as the Biblical historic record indicates. What the Biblical record failed to indicate was that the walls were pushed down FROM THE INSIDE.

Scientists and archeologists have found what they believe to be Noah's ark located in Turkey. Satellite images don't lie, and for my money, it's much easier to believe the historical Biblical account of a worldwide flood, something by the way that the historic fossil record also supports, than it does to believe that a group of brain dead morons built a wooden boat the size of a WWII aircraft carrier in an area of no ocean, and on a mountain to boot!

I have personally stood at the tomb of Christ, not the one people purport for profit, but the one that actually matches the historical, Biblical record. I can report that this tomb is in fact empty, just as the historical Biblical record records.

Here is one that always puzzled me. It is a matter of historical record that on one time in Jerusalem, Christ Himself said to a group of His followers that all manner of blasphemy against His Name and against His Father's name would be forgiven men. If He were not in fact God, how would He have known that over 2000 years later His Name and His Father's name would be the favorite curse names for men? I have studied many religions of the world, and non-religions as well, and I never have heard a man, having hit his thumb with a hammer, saying "Oh Buddha". That's because, I think, men swear by someone greater than them.

Once in college I attended what was reported to be a scientific debate on evolution at Virginia State University. A campus professor was debating a renowned creationist scientist, Dr. Henry Morris. This professor was elaborately describing how they had worked feverishly and were close to actually creating life in the laboratory. After about 10 minutes of discourse, Dr. Morris responded, giving the professor the benefit of the doubt, and conceding that he actually HAD in fact already created life in the laboratory. Then he said something that made the entire room silent. Dr. Morris stated, "My colleague has just proved my point for me". He has proven that life is not an accident, random chance happening. He has proved that life, by its very design and nature, requires a higher intelligence, a Creator. The professor had no response and the room remained silent for a time. The media there neglected to report this at the time.

My days in college were not without their peculiarities and fun times. One was when a visiting scientist lectured at our institution and oddly enough, spoke regarding evolution and its theories. In spite of the fact that no one can go back in time to repeat the actual series of events purported to embody the evolutionary process, the truth is, what he said that day made a lasting impact on my psyche and prompted me to a lifetime of searching and evaluation. As he spoke, he took off his very complicated Swiss watch, placed it in a paper bag, and asked us to imagine that watch, inside the bag, in individual pieces. He then stated that we'd have a better chance of watching that watch assemble itself, miraculously over time, than the human body would have mysteriously just evolved.

In public school, one of my favorite subjects was physics. They told me that the proton, neutron, and electron were the smallest particles of matter. Now we know that those professors just didn't know the whole truth - now its quarks. Tomorrow, new technology will discover more sub particles, and I predict it will go on infinitely - just as the Biblical record states: Man’s nature is to explore and discover, but God created nature in such a way to ensure that man will never discover all that God has created. That way we know who God really is - NOT us.

In public school, they told me that there were only nine planets in our solar system. Now we know that is not true. They did not know what they were talking about. They did not have the entire picture.

For nearly 40 years, the so-called experts told us we had found the oldest living specimen of man - Peking man. Forty years later, it was proved through scientific analysis to be nothing more than the jawbone of a modern pig. The Biblical record states: professing themselves to be wise, they were as fools. This made me think and inquire further.

Geologists tell us the earth is a seething mass of molten lava and gas that should just explode into oblivion and yet it does not. Same for the atom. Why? Science had no explanation for me so I turned again to the historical Biblical record where I found that it says that Christ created all things and holds all things together with his power.

When men were telling each other the earth was flat, the historical Biblical record said that God sits upon the "circle" of the earth.

When the historical Biblical record referred to "paths in the sea”, the leading scientists scoffed, until researchers found actual current pathways at the depths of our oceans. Suddenly they no longer laughed.

I visited caves and caverns all over the world. The scientists told us that is took billions of years to create them. Now we can travel to the Creation Institute in Pennsylvania where you can see caverns with stalagmites and stalactites dating billions of years old, created by man in only a few months! MONTHS not billions of years.

Yes, like some of you, I see what I see and it doesn't jive with what I read in the Bible. But I would challenge those of you who are seriously interested in scientific truth, to go beyond the platitudes. Yes, there will always be examples that we can point to embodying bad representations. That is a fact.

Point in case - there ARE phonies in the church. However, not all are phonies.

There are sorry examples of Christians that you can point to, indeed, just as Hitler was a sorry excuse for a German. Right? Does that mean that all Germans are like Hitler - of course not!

Here is what I gleaned off the list of 100 quotes, and I only use the first 24 as an example:

1. A believer (...i.e. in God)

2. Faith (...i.e. in God)

3. God

4. All knowing, all powerful God.

5. Ignorance = God

6. Church (...i.e. of God)

7. Religion (...i.e. about God)

8. Religion

9. God

10. ...I would believe in God

11. Supernatural (i.e. God)

12. Religion

13. Church

14. Religion

15. Bible, Church

16. The invisible (...i.e. God)

17. God

18. Prayer

19. Religion

20. God of the Old Testament

21. God

22. Bible, God

23. Priests

24. Biblical miracles

Just as an entire nation can be misguided and wrong - i.e. Germany WWII, so the supposed great people quoted above can also be wrong.

A dog has four legs and a tail. A cat has four legs and a tail. Therefore, a cat is a dog. We all know that is nonsense.

What I am saying is, don't commit intellectual suicide because something doesn't agree with your way of thinking. Just because there are a lot of people who hold to an opinion, and because they happened to have a brief past glimmer of what people refer to as fame or notoriety, does not make it any more a logical argument, much less a truthful one.

When a treasury agent is trained, he or she is trained on the real currency so that the minute a phony pops up, it can be spotted immediately. If they spent all their time insulting, denying, criticizing all the fake, phony and counterfeit, then they would never understand the real and genuine currency, and as such would never know what was fake and what was real.

I would urge you not to spend a disproportionate amount of time maligning what one supposedly does not believe.

The historical Biblical record states in Romans that men are without excuse - belief in God is built into us and is shown all around us.

A battle against God? This is one that mere mortal man will never win, and cannot possibly hope to achieve.

The heavens declare the Glory of God, just as each man internally knows deep down that God does exist and that God has revealed Himself to man through Jesus Christ.

In conclusion, if the Bible is true and you follow it you have not lost, but have great gain; if it is not true, then you have lost nothing.

I would refer those who would like further inquiry to the following link for this free ebook download I discovered:

http://joshmcdowellmedia.org/F...

Written by a somewhat famous apologist and author, this free e-book download, "Skeptics Who Demand a Verdict" is somewhat lengthy, and in some cases a little dry, but for those who are intellectually honest with themselves, it is well worth a look.

Remember, at the end of life, YOU ALONE will answer to God. Not a crowd of people who thought the same, and motivated each other to a rebellious state. YOU ALONE will answer directly to YOUR CREATOR for this one question: What did you do with My Son, Jesus Christ?

I always tell my sons that it does not matter how much you say you do not believe in gravity. It is a scientifically verifiable principle of physics. No matter how badly you don't want to believe in it, ignore it, deny it...if you jump off a tall structure without having made preparations for it, you will be sadly disappointed at the bottom.

This is the same way with your existence. Deny God, ignore Him, pretend He doesn't exist - all you want - but fail to make preparations for exiting this life without following the spiritual guidelines He has set up for mankind, and you will be sadly disappointed.

Heat is a physical principle. Go to the kitchen, heat the burner up to cherry red, now slap your hand on it and hold it there. That's just a taste of what eternity is like for those who choose to not prepare for it according to God's rules.

What kind of person would refuse to give up what he cannot keep (his life) to gain what he cannot lose (eternity)?

Food for thought,

Mr. J.

Re: 101 Atheist Quotes

Last time.....Religion is a BELIEF with no proof watsoever! Like morality, for example ;-)
Really, I find humanism and atheist moralists sort of pathetic. Instead of pious frauds they're frauds because they deny their piety.

The Universe is a relentless machine with no purpose, no goal, no meaning; all values are the values of individuals who come, and go, and that's it. There is no ultimate foundation for ethics; it's just a psychological trick people use to control one another (often without realizing it).

Re: 101 Atheist Quotes

God’s way is perfect.

“As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.” – Psalm 18:30 – NIV (2011)

The Bible does not teach people to harm others. The Bible teaches the exact opposite.

“Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” – Ephesians 4:31-32 – NIV (2011)

“So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.” – Matthew 7:12 – NIV (2011)

While people may not understand why Jesus does what He chooses to do, that does not mean that he is a small God. He is the one and only true God that wants everyone to come to repentance.

““For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” – Isaiah 55:8-9 – NIV (2011)

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16 – NIV (2011)

Science cannot disprove the Bible. Think of the Roman architecture. Did all of the Roman architecture just appear? Did it just put itself together, even if the materials were available? Of course not! There were intelligent human beings who put it together. Everything that exists had to have been made by an intelligent Designer (God). He created everything that exists.

“For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.” – Colossians 1:16 – NIV (2011)

“When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them? You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet: all flocks and herds, and the animals of the wild, the birds in the sky, and the fish in the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas. LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! “ – Psalm 8:3-9 – NIV (2011)

“How many are your works, LORD! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures. There is the sea, vast and spacious, teeming with creatures beyond number— living things both large and small. There the ships go to and fro, and Leviathan, which you formed to frolic there. All creatures look to you to give them their food at the proper time. When you give it to them,
they gather it up; when you open your hand, they are satisfied with good things.” – Psalm 104:24-28 – NIV (2011)

Re: 101 Atheist Quotes

The Bible is God’s Word. The Bible shows people how to live. Just the book of Proverbs alone, is a goldmine for people who want to know how to live wisely. The Bible applied to everyday life back in Bible time, and the Bible still applies to everyday life now. The Bible deals with a vast range of different topics: being kind, love one another, God’s commands, the Gospel, do not steal, do not murder, etc.

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,” – 2 Timothy 3:16 – NIV (2011)

The Bible is the inspired Word of God. The Bible was written over a period of 1400 to 1800 years by 40 different authors from different walks of life, on three separate continents, yet it all fits together and has not been proven wrong.

“Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.” – 2 Peter 1:20-21 – NIV (2011)

No one can get rid of the Bible. People have tried for a long time to attempt this task, but have gotten nowhere. This is because God says that His Word endures forever.

“The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever.” – Isaiah 14:8 – NIV (2011)

All science can do is show the validity of the Bible. Since God created everything, no one can use science against the Creator. Evolution does not have any supporting evidence backing it, nor will there ever be any supporting evidence backing it. Evolution actually goes against science (ie. non-living matter turning into a living organism, etc.). There was no big bang. The Bible very clearly states that God did the creating.

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” – Genesis 1:1 – NIV (2011)

Re: Atheism Needs More Penn Jillette’s And Less Jodie Foster’s

still doesnt change the fact. you will stand before God.

Re: Atheism Needs More Penn Jillette’s And Less Jodie Foster’s

Better have answers sooon! Like i said b4 U just keep on believeing with ur bible book of lies, deciept, and oppressing ways! Keep ignoring all the evil in it! Ur just 2 dumb 2 realize that u were born straight and very narrowminded on the issue's of gays and bisexuals! As u can plainly see human rights and our human laws are above gods narrowminded laws...thank goodness! As u can also notice every thing u BELIEVE in is in a book that's just over 2 thousand years old with no proof whatsoever! Also there r religions out there that say that Christianity is completely wrong! And u say they're wrong and so on! Well the Atheist says with it's mountains of evidense ur all wrong! All religions lack proof! ALL OF THEM! It's just a belief! So no matter what u post from the bible... ur only convincing urself! You've been fooled ever since u learned about ur religion! Funny thing is ur gullible enuff 2 BELIEVE it! Ha ha...Point...stare...and laugh! Atheists don't have a bloody history...but Christianity sure does! Hope ur proud of that! Islam has a bloody history as well! Almost every religion out there has a bloody history! SAD! Atheists hav a history of common sense, reason and evidence 2 back their knowledge! 2 bad u can't say that about ur religion! U can stop posting ur bible bullshit on this site now! The bible is so unconvincing that only a child would believe it! So i guess all Christians hav the thoughts and minds of a child! Religions are human killers! Hope ur proud of that 2! Notice it takes humans 2 kill humans! If it's gods law then don't u think god should com down and do his or hers or its own dirty work! I mean according 2 u he created everything! But he doesn't hav the power 2 com down and take care of the rules he layed down?? oh let me guess.....god chooses not 2! I suppose god told u this in ur sleep! Shame on god 4 letting children being born wid cancer! Shame on god 4 oppressing gays and bisexuals! Shame on u 4 supporting this bloody bible book of lies and far out there stories that make no sense! Fairie tale telling piece of shit book is all it is! Wake up and smell the truth u narrowminded murder supporting, fairie tale telling, human being oppressing moron! I still wish u well Rick! (While religious people are not generally mad, their core beliefs absolutely are!) (How is it that any major religion has looked at science and concluded, "This is better than we thought! The universe is much bigger than our prophets said, grander, more subtle, more elegant'? Instead they say no no no! My god is a little god,and i want him to stay that way.' A religion, old or new, that stressed the magnificence of the universe as revealed by modern science might be able to draw forth reserves of reverence and awe hardly tapped by the conventional faiths.) Practice what I'm preaching? Are you mad that God changed my heart and turned me from sleeping with married men and getting drunk and doing drugs? Am I not practicing what I'm preaching I know longer do the things I use to do.Am I a hypocrite?Do you know the scripture well enough to know that the verse that says he who casts the first stone is based on when Jesus spoke to the pharisees and said that they themselves were committing the same sin (HYPOCRITE) as the women that they were throwing stones at.Or do you just throw scriptures that you know nothing about that will fit what you want to say.Doesn't it say in John 7:24 make a right judgment." All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,2 Timothy 3:16

1Cor. 6:2-3 Do you not know that the saints [the saved; Christians] will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases? Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life!

I can't tell you how ignorant some atheist can be at times when it comes to telling us what the scripture say when you don't even believe the bible.Or you hear these scriptures from other non believers and they don't even know what these scriptures mean.
Is it wrong that I don't want you guys to go to hell? I went to hell and I LOVE YOU GUYS seriously. You do not want your worst enemy to go to hell if you have been in the inner core of the earth where the lake of fire is. Your sins leads to death. If that makes me foolish then I will continue to be a fool for God. And I can send a message to anyone who is speaking to me. You can't see the air or the wind but its their how about when you smell something you can't see it but it's their. Or whats holding the earth in place you can't see that either.God says he is invisible. What would be the point if God showed himself to everyone God wants those who will obey him to be with him in heaven.Just like your father you don't obey his rules you get kicked out.Their are 25,000 archeological, scientific and historical facts about the bible. Are history books have a lot to say about the bible.
